yesterday night, i was talking to a friend about the urbana '09 missions conference, and i'll be brutally honest, i'm not excited. sometimes i start wondering, "why am i even going? i've never even gone on missions before." i went to work camps in kenosha, wisconsin when i was a freshman in high school, but i don't consider that as short term missions. i feel lost in the sauce. i don't really know what urbana is about and what tracks are even offered. i tried doing some "research" (more like googled) about the tracks but i failed miserably because i didn't feel like reading. at least i skimmed the titles? now i don't remember anything!
i'm currently drinking lukewarm coffee out of this cup. this blue cup is ancient. i swear it's been in the family before i was born. maybe even before my brothers were born. it has my mom's old lipstick stains that refuse to wash off, and scratches all over the swans. inside of the cup is no longer white, but instead, it's home to coffee and tea stains. i still like it though.
i was going to write about something else, but i completely forgot.
i downloaded the 20 free christmas tracks on itunes last weekend, and i really like lady antebellum's rendition of "baby, it's cold outside" :) i also bought michael buble's christmas album! i was kind of disappointed that there were only 5 or 6 songs on it, but nonetheless, love the songs.
OH! now i remember what i wanted to write about! i wanted to ask you guys for your opinion! i'm on a low budget this christmas, and i decided that i want to make something crafty this year for my friends. would you rather receive a book marker, candle lollipop, or soap as a gift? i know these gifts are kind of girly, so i'm leaning towards the soap. i figured everyone has to clean themselves... right? i don't know. tell me what you think :) thank you.
